Winnie Giddens Clements, age 93, Jormerly of .Eastman died Sunday, November 22, 2009 in Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at First Baptist Church in Eastman with Dr. Jerry Peele, Rev. Brad Crawford and Ronald Evans officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Clements was a member of First Baptist Church, and the retired co-owner and operator of Clements Grocery She was preceded in death by her parents, Della Rawlins Giddens and James Richard Giddens; her husband, Leroy M. Clements; and 14 sisters and brothers. Survivors include a daughter; four grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends in First Baptist Church one hour before services.
