MR. BILLY GREENE KNIGHT, age 85, of Eastman, GA, died Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at Serenity Place Hospice in Dublin, GA. A private family graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 9, at Woodlawn Cemetery, with Pastor Dahl McDermitt, Jr. officiating. Mr. Knight was born in Laurens County, an active member of Gresston Baptist Church where he assisted on a number of service projects, and a retired Supply supervisor for Robins AFB for over 30 years. He was a hard worker who never let a project whoop him and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, feeding his fish, and most of all, he enjoyed riding his bicycle. Billy was the son of the late Irene Alligood Knight and William A. Knight and was preceded in death by a Daughter, Dale Knight Gilbert and Granddaughter, DeLisa Dunn Crawford. He is survived by his Daughter; Son-in-law; Grandson; Grandson-in-law; 2 Great-Grandsons; Several Great-Great-Grandchildren; 2 Step-Grandsons and Several Step-Great-Grandchildren; 2 Brothers; Several Nieces and Nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions to Gideons International Bible Fund.
