Samuel “Sammy” William Brown, age 66, of Dexter, passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2018. Services will be held at 3:00PM on Friday, June 1, 2018 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Mr. Brown was born in Laurens County and was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a Harley Davidson enthusiast and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved to help out his friends. He was employed with Bearden Oil Company and was a farmer. He was preceded in death by his father, S.W. Brown; grandparents, David Jackson Bryan, Ida Hatcher Bryan, Leandrew Brown, Lula A. Brown and uncle, Howard J. Bryan. Survivors include his mother; step-sons; step-grandchildren, as well as numerous cousins and relatives.
