Funeral services for Joyce Douglas Owen, 83, of Cochran, who died Thursday, January 5, 2017, will be held Sunday, January 8, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Fisher Funeral Home. Burial will be private in Bowers Cemetery.
Born in Bleckley County to the late James Quitman Douglas and Naomi Skipper Douglas, Joyce was the widow of Fernander "Bubber" Owen. She was a member of Limestone Baptist Church and attended Southside Baptist Church. She was retired from Dowling Industries.
Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law; two granddaughters; and 2 great-grandsons.
