Cochran – Vertis R. “BB” Fordham, age 84, died Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at his residence. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 27, 2018, at 11:00 A.M. at the Cochran Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Burial will be in Yearty Cemetery. Mr. Fordham, born in Dodge County, had lived most of his life in Cochran. He was the son of the late Robert Reno and Myrtle Bates Fordham and preceded in death by three siblings. He was retired from Robins Air Force Base and a lifetime member and 32nd Degree Mason at the Cochran Masonic Lodge #217 F&AM. He was a member of the Cochran Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Survivors are his wife of 64 years; his daughter, son and daughter-in-law, daughter and son-in-law; his sister; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
