Obituary
Died on night of January 1st, 1877, Mrs. Esther Bowen, who for several years past, has been laboring under serious mental derangment having at one time been an inmate of the Lunatic Asylum. Mrs. Bosen was the widow of the late Enoch Bowen, who formaly lived in originally Telfair, now Dodge County, than whom a purer and better man was seldom found. we have heard him spoken of by those who knew him well as being a man of rare piety and unblemished character, and it is said his death left a vacuum in the Christian circle of his neighborhood that has never been filled.
