Obituary
Services for Vida Dykes Bacon will be at 2 p.m. today in Pine Level Freewill Baptist Church with burial in Pine Level Cemetery. Bacon, 74, died Sunday, March 5, 2000. Born in Dodge County, she was the daughter of the late Jacob Dykes and Dolly Jones Dykes. She was a retired employee of C&J Manufacturing Co. She was the widow of Walter Bacon. She was a member of Pine Level Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children; sister; 15 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
