MR. JESSIE CARL MULLIS, age 84, of Eastman, GA, died Monday, July 20, 2020 at Heart of Georgia Nursing Home. A private burial will be held Wednesday, July 22, at Woodlawn Cemetery. Mr. Mullis will lie in state Tuesday, July 21 at Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home from 11:00AM-5:00PM. Jessie was a lifelong resident of Dodge County, of the Baptist Faith, and a retired carpenter. He worked for Stuckey’s Inc. building Stuckey’s Stores for many years. He also worked on oil rigs for several years in New Orleans and was a carpenter in Eastman for many years. Jessie enjoyed fishing, walking, and watching sports of TV. He was the son of the late Eudele Peacock Mullis and William Henry Mullis and was preceded in death by 2 Brothers, Dudley Mullis and Walter Mullis and his Niece Sherry Mullis Parkerson. He is survived by his Son; 3 Grandchildren; 4 Great Grands; Sister; Sister-in-law; Nieces and Nephews; Nephew-In-Law; Several Great-Nieces and Great-Nephews.
