MRS. HELEN LONG CANNON, age 88, of Eastman, GA, died Monday May 9, 2022, at Heart of Georgia Nursing Home. Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM Monday May 16, at Woodlawn Cemetery, with Rev. Daniel Cook officiating. Mrs. Cannon was born in Bibb County, a faithful member of Cottondale Baptist Church, and a retired employee of Stuckey’s Inc. She loved going to flea markets, working in her flower garden, and was an avid animal lover. Helen was the daughter of the late Bernice McClelland Long and Thomas Long, widow of Wilbur Cannon, and was preceded in death by 6 Siblings, twin sister Hilda Fordham, Louise Fordham, Laverne Hobbs, J.W. Long, Earl Long, and Woody Long, and her Beloved Dog, Buffy. She is survived by her Son; adopted Daughter; 2 Grandchildren; 4 Great-Grandchildren; Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
