MR. DANIEL KEITH “DANNY” WINANS, age 62, of Madera, CA, died Thursday, December 5, 2019 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM Sunday, December 15, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Jack Lee officiating, with interment in Sugar Creek Congregational Methodist Church Cemetery. Danny was born Downey, CA, a member of Valley West Pentecostal Church in Madera, CA, a 1975 graduate of Warren High School, attended several colleges where he earned a degree in mechanical engineering, and was an industrial engineer for Dole Packaging LLC for over 12 years. He was a member of RETA (Refrigeration Engineer and Technician Association) and the Union of Operating Engineers. He was a dedicated husband and a loving father and grandfather who enjoyed model trains, music, playing guitar and singing, and thrift store shopping. Danny was son of the late Lula Belle Williams Winans and Charles L. “Chuck” Winans and was preceded in death by a Brother, Vincent “Vince” Winans. Survivors: Wife of 37 years; Daughter; Son; Granddaughter; Twin Brother; Niece; Step-Mother; Step-Sister; Step-Brothers; Aunts Several Extended Family Members and Numerous Friends. The family may be contacted at the residence and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 2:00PM-3:00PM Sunday, December 15.
