Obituary
Luke Thomas Smith, age 87, of Eastman, died Sunday, May 10, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p. m. on Wednesday, May 13. 2009 from the graveside in Harrell Cemetery in Midway with Rev. Kevin Morrison officiating.
Mr. Smith, a native of Dodge County, was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Anny, a carpenter. and a member of Midway Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents. Pauline McAllister Smith and Eugene Smith.
Survivors include four sons; daughter; sister; sister-in-law; friends; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends in Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home from noon until service time on Wednesday.
