Ray A. Hightower, age 72, of Eastman, died Thursday, October 29, 2009. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 1, 2009 in Fair Haven Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Robinson and Rev. Jerry Hegwood officiating. Interment followed in Bay Springs Cemetery in Rhine. Mr. Hightower, a native of Dodge County, was a member and deacon of Fair Haven Baptist Church, a former Sears employee and a retired civil service employee of Warner Robins Air Force Base. He was preceded in death by his parents, Annie Massingill Hightower and Robert F. Hightower. Survivors include his wife; two daughters; two sons; 10 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
