Obituary
Services for Bruce Lamar Adkins, age 62 of Cadwell, will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, October 30, 2017 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home, with a private burial to follow at Pleasant Olive Cemetery, Chester, GA. Rev. Greg Lowery will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home prior to the service.
Mr. Adkins was born in Dodge County. He was an employee of Rentz Cabinet Shop and was of the Baptist Faith. Lamar was an avid fisherman. He loved his wife and family and enjoyed BBQ, grilling and frying fish for many family gatherings. A special thanks to Integrity Hospice for the great care given to Lamar and family.
Survivors include his wife, his parents, brother, sister, several nieces and nephews.
